World Bank: A loan of $350 million approved for Morocco: "On May 16, the World Bank (WB) announced a loan of $350 million to support the widespread reforms in the financial intermediation sector in Morocco. "For the WB, this loan will enable small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) the access to new sources of funding, and it will improve the banking supervision framework. It is also intended to promote the development of the capital market by expanding the range of available instruments and by strengthening the protection of Moroccan investors," explain the experts from the World Bank."
2. Closing of the 2nd edition of the community days "AWB EMC Buzz": "On Saturday, May 13, was the closure the 2nd edition of the 2017 community days "AWB EMC BUZZ" organized by the Attijariwafa Bank Foundation with Injaz Al-Maghrib during which 5,000 college students have been introduced to entrepreneurship by nearly 300 employees of the Group. Barid Al-Maghrib participates in the exhibition "Face à Picasso": "Barid Al-Maghrib has launched this week, in partnership with the National Museum Foundation, a special emission of 2 postage stamps embodying the pieces "Woman with a Chignon" and "Woman in Chair with Hat" by Pablo Picasso. This special emission is launched in parallel with the exhibition "Face à Picasso" which will be held at the Mohammed VI Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art in Rabat until July 31, 2017. Phosphate Industry: The OCP's turnover jumped by 10% in the first quarter: ""The OCP Group expects a sustained demand, driven by solid agricultural fundamentals and lower input prices for the rest of the year," said in a statement Mostafa Terrab, the CEO of the world's leading fertilizer company, on the occasion of the announcement of its first quarter results. "The market conditions will remain in the coming months dictated by the offer," said the CEO of the group that had realized a turnover of 11.4 billion Dirhams, an increase of 10% year-on-year.
