1. 2. Investments: 51 projects, 67 billion Dirhams, and 6,477 jobs: ""The Investment Commission approved, on May 4, 51 investment projects for a total amount of 67 billion Dirhams to allow the creation of 6,477 jobs," said Moulay Hafid Elalamy, the Minister of Trade, Industry, Investment, and the Digital Economy. These two-thirds projects will go to the industry sector, i.e. more than 43 billion Dirhams, were approved by the Interministerial Commission which met on May 4, under the chairmanship of the Head of Government, Saad-Eddin El Othmani."
3. Oriental invites the MREs from the region to invest: "The council of the region of Oriental announced in Saïdia, on Friday, May 5, 2017, to have mobilized, for the benefit of the MREs, a budgetary envelope of 55 million DH as investment and business creation aid. "This is a down payment. This budget will be reserved for land acquisition and job creation. Budget Law 2017: The American funds destined for Morocco are also usable in the Moroccan Sahara: ""The Kingdom of Morocco welcomes the provisions related to the Moroccan Sahara contained in the budget law of the financial year 2017 by the United States of America, adopted by Congress and promulgated, this Friday, by President Donald Trump," said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in a statement. This law indicates that the funds intended for Morocco are also usable in the Moroccan Sahara. Similarly, the report, accompanying the said Act and explaining its provisions, reaffirms, without ambiguity, the support of the US Congress to the Moroccan Autonomy Initiative. It stressed, says the same source, that "the Secretary of State should pursue a negotiated settlement of this dispute in accordance with the policy of the United States to support a solution based on a formula of autonomy under the Moroccan sovereignty."
