Design: Shem's Publicité is organizing a competition to decorate the entrance to its headquarters: "The global communications agency Shem's Publicité launches a national competition accessible to all. Designers, architects, artists, sculptors, craftsmen, students of applied arts, graphic design, architecture, and all visual expressions on the theme of the "Sun" for the design and realization at the entrance of its head office of a contemporary work covering a wall of 5.50 m wide by 9.80 m high. Automotive: GBH announces the acquisition of the activities of Renault Trucks Maroc: "Renault Trucks announced that it had sold all the activities of Renault Trucks Maroc (formerly Berliet) to the Bernard Hayot Group (GBH). The Memorandum of Understanding, signed between the two groups in June 2017 and entered into force on November 1, 2017, covers the marketing and distribution of Renault Trucks vehicles in the United Kingdom. 'Under this agreement, all activities of Renault Trucks Maroc group were sold to GBH. This concerns the marketing and distribution of HGVs, spare parts, and after-sales service,' explains Renault Trucks in a press release."


Maroc Telecom expands its range of connected objects and launches "Smart Car": "Maroc Telecom is enriching its range of connected-object services and is launching, exclusively in Morocco, 'Smart Car', the first integrated intelligent vehicle management solution. Thanks to the Smart Car offer, Maroc Telecom offers its customers the possibility to manage and locate their vehicles remotely, thus optimizing the management of their vehicle fleet. The solution enables the customer to locate their vehicle in real time, and provides various indicators relating to driving behavior through reports of journeys made by the vehicle (departure and arrival point, distance traveled, journeys made, average and maximum speeds, fuel consumption, etc.)."


McDonald's is bidding globally to select its future media agencies: "McDonald's has decided to look for a new media agency after more than ten years of collaboration with the OmniCom Media Group (OMD). McDonald's fast-food chain is competing for its global budget because it no longer wants to employ a single global media agency, but rather a selection of several smaller media agencies. For example, McDonalds' media spend, which is close to $2 billion a year, will be entrusted to one agency per country according to the advertiser's wishes."
