1. Valoris Management Awarded for the Sixth Time: "At the latest edition of Lipper Fund Awards 2017 organized in Dubai by Thomson Reuters on August 7, Valoris Management was awarded two prizes in the category "Bond Morocco Dirham- Short Term" through the fund "FCP EMERGENCE BOND FUND," elected the best short-term bond fund in the Moroccan market over the 5-year and 10-year periods respectively."


2. ADA Is Working on 18 Projects of Olive Trituration Units: "Good news for small farmers. The Agricultural Development Agency (ADA) plans to set up 18 olive trituration units in five regions of the Kingdom: Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima, Fes-Meknes, Marrakesh-Safi, Beni Mellal-Khenifra, and the Oriental. The institution is due to sponsor on September 21, for 1.8 million dirhams, the technical and economic feasibility study of these projects, which are part of the program to develop the olive-growing sector for the benefit of small farmers."


3. Eighth Regional Forum for Sustainable Agriculture in Sidi Ifni This Saturday: "The 8th Regional Forum of Sustainable Agriculture for the three administrative regions of the big south of the Kingdom (Guelmim-Oued Noun, Laâyoune-Saguia El Hamra, and Dakhla-Oued Eddahab) will be held in Sidi Ifni next Saturday. Organized by the Network of Agroecological Initiatives in Morocco (RIAM), in partnership with the Association Ifni Initiatives and the Association Aicha for the development of proximity and the environment, as well as with the support of the Province of Sidi Ifni, this forum is part of the 4th edition of the Moussem of the Cactus AKNARI, indicated Thursday a statement from the organizers."


4. The Chamber of Councilors Unanimously Approves 17 International Conventions: "The first convention concerns the mutual recognition agreement with the Authorized Economic Operator (OEA) between member States, which provides for the creation of a database of approved economic actors involved in international trade with a view to facilitating customs operations between them, whereas the second convention refers, in turn, to administrative cooperation for the facilitation of customs procedures, the strengthening of cooperation, and the prevention of customs offenses in the member states of the convention, explained Mounia Boucetta."


5. More Than 2.6 Billion Dirhams Invested in Agricultural Projects: "According to the regional directorate of agriculture of Laayoune, these 92 projects are divided into two main areas. This involves the promotion of agricultural production chains through two major pillars and the development of the agricultural domain in relation to cross-cutting operations. Thus, 440 million dirhams have been released for the implementation of 49 projects inscribed under the pillar I of the Green Morocco Plan, allowing the development of agricultural products with high added value."
