1. Launching of Several Projects on the Occasion of Throne Day: "As part of the celebration of Throne Day, the province of Khouribga has been the scene of numerous events characterized by the launching and inaugurating of several socio-economic projects. Thereby, in an atmosphere of patriotism, delight, and joy, a covered sports hall was inaugurated in the city of Oued Zem, realized on an area of 12.400 m² for a budget of 27 million Dirhams, while a second hall was equipped for a cost of 12 million Dirhams."


2. CCG Wins the Financial Inclusion Trophy: "The Central Guarantee Fund (CCG) won on Wednesday, May 24, 2017, the trophy "Financial Inclusion" at the African Banker Awards 2017, organized in the margins of the annual meetings of the African Development Bank which are currently held in Ahmedabad, India. This award recognizes the CCG's commitment and successful strategy on financial inclusion with an impact demonstrated on improving access to funding for SMEs and low-income individuals."


3. UIR Launches the First Technology Transfer Office: "The International University of Rabat has established a Technology Transfer Office (TTO) as part of the commercialization of its intellectual property (IP) portfolio. According to a statement from the university, the main objectives of TTO will be the transfer of technology, the dissemination to businesses of valuable research activities, the identification and assessment of the technological and economic potential of inventions, and the contribution to local, regional, and national economic development."


4. BCP Consolidates Its Economic Performance: " Banque Centrale Populaire (BCP) announced that its Group Net Profit amounted to 1.5 billion Dirhams (MMDH) at the end of June 2017, against 1.3 MMDH during the same period a year earlier, i.e. an increase of 9.3%. BCP has thus consolidated its economic performance and showed a clear appreciation of its profitability for the first half of 2017, indicates a statement from the banking group, stating that its Net Social Profit rose significantly by 13.8% despite a major provisioning effort."


5. Increasing Air Traffic at Tangier, Tetouan, and Al Hoceima Airports: "The airports of Tangier-Tétouan-Al Hoceima have recorded during the first half of 2017 a significant increase in passenger traffic, 494,982 people who have flown through the region's airports towards various national and international destinations, compared with 370,713 passengers during the same period of 2016. According to the National Airports Office (ONDA), the best performance with a double-digit growth rate was registered by Ibn Battouta International Airport in Tangier, with a commercial traffic volume of 466,950 passengers during the first half of 2017, instead of 359,719 during the same period of the previous year, showing an increase of 29.81%."
