Barely born, 109 have already won 8 awards at the African Cristal Media & Advertising Summit! 

A young communication agency shone brightly in Marrakech during the last edition of the African Cristal Media & Advertising Summit held from June 13 to 16 under the theme "Positive brands". The 109 agency, created barely a year ago, distinguished itself by winning no less than 8 prizes at the event which reveals the best creations and awards communication specialists in different categories across the African continent. The agency has thus benefited from recognition of its creativity in the communication sector through the campaigns of MDJS E-Sport, Marina Shopping and Unicef on civil registration.

 

 

HUAWEI strengthens its position in the BrandZ ranking of the world's leading brands: 

Huawei has just strengthened its position and increased its value in the ranking of the world's leading brands. Published by WPP's Kantar research group, BrandZ's annual survey of the world's 100 most important brands ranks Huawei 47th in the world (one place higher than last year). Also as part of this ranking, the brand value increased by 8%. This is the fourth consecutive year that Huawei has managed to reach the top 50 in this ranking.

 

 

Ikea makes fun of Apple in an ad on a cheese grater: 

Ikea kindly trolls Apple with an ad for an Idealisk cheese grater. At its last keynote in early June 2019, the Cupertino firm presented its new Mac Pro, which was very quickly compared to this kitchen utensil by Internet users. IKEA is laughing at Apple's new Mac Pro, a few days after its release. Where the computer in question promises to be particularly powerful, the design bias had already made Internet users smile, so many of them took the liberty of comparing the device to... a cheese grater.

 

 

Firefox unveils a brand new identity: 

After announcing the launch of a new paid version, Mozilla's famous browser today unveils a new logo and visual identity. "Firefox unveils its new look to support the evolution of its product range. Today, we present the new Firefox brand: an icon representing all its solutions. It is an invitation to join Firefox and have access to everything we have to offer. This includes the Firefox browser for mobiles and computers and many other things that will be announced this fall," the famous browser said in a statement. "The fox is known for its speed, intelligence and indomitable character. Well, Firefox has another feature that has not been spotted in real foxes: flexibility (Look at how it goes around the globe). This legendary flexibility now allows Firefox to adapt once again to a changing environment," he explains to justify these design changes.
