2. The kingdom wants to encourage foreign investment in the sector. According to L'Economiste on Tuesday, August 8, the Decree on State aid to foreign film production, adopted by the Government Council on July 27, will be operational by October 2017 at the latest. In details, it is the setting up of a new system of reimbursements, "Cash Rebate," granted to foreign studios wishing to invest in Morocco. Note that the Kingdom has generated more than 320 million Dirhams of foreign investment in film and television production in 2016."
