1. The Government Adopts the Governmental Plan for Equality of the Period 2017-2021: "The Government Council, meeting in Rabat on Thursday, adopted the Government Plan for Equality (PGE) "Ikram 2" for the period 2017-2021, in anticipation of the verification of the procedures within the framework of the interministerial committee in charge of the implementation of this plan. The Minister of Family, Solidarity, Equality, and Social Development, Bassima Hakkaoui, said in a statement that the Plan was adopted in accordance with the provisions of the Constitution, the Royal High Guidelines, and the governmental program, stressed the Minister Delegate in charge of Relations with Parliament and civil society, spokesman for the government, Mustapha El Khalfi, in a statement read at the end of the weekly meeting of the Government Council."


2. Nearly 45% of the Rural Population Benefited from the Projects Financed by the Rural Development Fund: "The Minister for the Development of the National Territory, Town Planning, Habitat, and City Politics, Mohammed Nabil Benabdellah, said in Rabat on Wednesday that 45 percent of the rural population have benefited from the projects financed by the Fund for Rural Development and Mountainous Areas. Presenting to the House of Representatives Committee on Public Finance Control on projects financed by the Rural Development and Mountainous Areas Fund, Mr. Benabdellah reported that 50% of the 780 projects financed were carried out at a total cost of 2.8 billion Dirhams (MMDH), including a contribution of 1.3 MMDH from the fund."


3. CCG Supported 18,000 SMEs over the Period 2013-2016: "The Strategic Development Plan 2013-2016 of the Central Fund of Guarantee (CCG) has paid off. This was stated by its DG, Hicham Zanati Serghini, at the 31st meeting of the Board of Directors of the Fund, chaired by Mohammed Boussaïd, Minister of Economy and Finance. Serghini revealed that, over the period 2013-2016, the credits secured and co-financed have reached 39 billion Dirhams, financing 18,000 very small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), double the targets set, according to CCG. The "Individuals" activity, for its part, "managed to stay the course and achieve the objectives," i.e. 22 billion Dirhams of guaranteed loans and 112,000 beneficiary households, specifies the Fund."


4. Banque Atlantique Promotes Entrepreneurship in Ivory Coast: "Banque Atlantique Côte d'Ivoire contributes to the promotion of the entrepreneurial economy in Ivory Coast. The subsidiary of Banque Centrale Populaire (BCP) and the Ivorian Ministry of Trade, Crafts, and Promotion of SMEs have signed a partnership agreement in Abidjan Thursday aimed at promoting the entrepreneurial economy in this African country, reported MAP. This agreement is part of the implementation of one of the agreements signed during the visit of His Majesty the King Mohammed VI to Ivory Coast, in February 2017, between BCP Group and the Ivorian Ministry."


5. RAM: A Record of 57,739 Passengers Transported on July 29 and 30: "The traffic of Royal Air Maroc (RAM) has achieved a record during the weekend of July 29 and 30, 2017, with a bit over 57,739 passengers carried on 517 flights (round trip), operated during these two days, the national airline announced in a statement sent to MAP on Friday. This influx knew an exceptional record at Mohammed V airport where nearly 42,726 people took the 350 flights of Royal Air Maroc (round trip), specifies the same source, noting that the Casablanca hub alone accounted for 74% of the company's traffic.”
