1. The efforts of BMCE Bank of Africa recognized by Vigeo Eiris: "Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has always been at the center of concerns of BMCE Bank of Africa, which has earned it a position of the most important in the ESG record of achievements (Environmental, Social, and Governance - Vigeo Eiris Ranking Emerging 70) of the leading CSR notation agency in Europe. The numerous efforts and initiatives undertaken by the bank to control its risks of social responsibility and to make undeniable commitments to the establishment of a framework respectful of human rights as well as its irreproachable ethics have earned it the most significant scores in this ranking dedicated to emerging countries."


2. The CFCIM certified "Tobacco-Free Enterprise, Gold Level": "The French Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Morocco (CFCIM) has just been certified "Tobacco-Free Enterprise, Gold Level" by the Lalla Salma Foundation for the Prevention and Treatment of Cancer. This certification for the year 2017 was lifted following an audit carried out last May by the commission of the Lalla Salma Foundation for the Prevention and Treatment of Cancer. The auditors were able to identify the efforts made by the Chamber and its coordinating committee in the implementation of tobacco control activities. The CFCIM also supports all its employees who wish to integrate the smoking cessation program."


3. Tourism: Chinese decision makers in a visit to Morocco: "The Moroccan National Office of Tourism (ONMT) has received until June 16 an important Chinese delegation which brings together fifty Chinese persons in charge of traveling agency, television, radio, electronic press, and paper press operators from the 3 main cities of the Middle Empire: Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou. The cities concerned by this prospecting stay are Casablanca, Rabat, Marrakech, Chefchaouen, and Fez."


4. Investments in Tetouan: More than 28 million Dirhams injected: "With its geographical potential and infrastructure, Tetouan continues to position itself as a destination of choice for both domestic and international investors. This is at least what emerges from the latest statistical data issued by the Regional Investment Center of Tetouan and reported by Aujourd’hui le Maroc in its edition of June 12. Tetouan has thereby carved out the lion's share of the companies created in the region during the first four months of the year. It is followed by the M'diq-Fnideq prefecture by 27% of the units set up during this period. Until the end of April, the two provinces experienced, thanks to an overall investment of more than 28 million Dirhams, the creation of 215 companies."


5. The Moroccan ambitions of Total in liquefied natural gas: "Total has announced its intention to invest in gas and electricity infrastructure projects in Morocco and South Africa. The capacity of the production company of liquefied natural gas (LNG) will reach 15 million tons per year by 2020, but the company is looking to conquer new markets and find new gas buyers. Morocco plans to build a 4.6 billion Dollar project, which includes importing more than 7 billion cubic meters of gas by 2025, the construction of a pier, terminal, pipelines, and several gas-fired power plants with a production capacity of up to 2,400 megawatts."


6. The TGR hosts the CMR in some cities: "The General Treasury of the Kingdom (TGR) and the Moroccan Pension Fund (CMR) have signed a new partnership agreement last Friday. Objective: Enabling the CMR to broaden the network of its representations in the cities where it does not have a regional delegation. Thereby, the TGR will provide the CMR with a reception area for the handling of applications and requests from affiliates and pensioners within certain provincial and prefectural treasuries. These services will be operational within three months in Dakhla, Guelmim, and Khémisset, and they could be extended, by mutual agreement, to other cities."
