Tetouan presents its candidature project to join the UNESCO's Network of Creative Cities: "Twenty years after the classification of its medina as a world heritage of humanity, Tetouan presented on Monday, April 24th, its project to join the Network of Creative Cities of the Unesco. The network, currently composed of 116 members in 54 countries, covers seven creative domains: arts and crafts, design, film, gastronomy, literature, music and digital arts. "Tetouan, which intends to include the category "crafts and folk arts", counts on its assets in this domain to increase the creative potential of the city in terms of sustainable urban development and cultural influence," reports the MAP."
