Moroccan Sahara: Morocco welcomes the provisions of the US budget law of 2017: ""The Kingdom of Morocco welcomes the provisions on the Moroccan Sahara contained in the budget law for the financial year 2017 by the United States of America, adopted by the Congress and promulgated this Friday by President Donald Trump," said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in a statement. This law indicates that the funds intended for Morocco are also usable in the Moroccan Sahara.
Similarly, the report, accompanying the said law and explaining its provisions, unambiguously reaffirms the support of the US Congress to the Moroccan Autonomy Initiative. It stressed, says the same source, that "the Secretary of State should pursue a negotiated settlement of this dispute, in accordance with the policy of the United States to support a solution based on a formula of autonomy under the Moroccan sovereignty." In addition, in this text, the US Administration is encouraged "to support the private sector investments in Western Sahara," the ministry said. Otherwise, the law passed by the Congress and promulgated by the American President, requested the Secretary of State to submit a report within 45 days describing the arrangements to strengthen control over the delivery of humanitarian assistance to refugees in North Africa, in a barely veiled reference to the population of Tindouf camps in Algeria."

The Ain Chok District Judicial Police Brigade had arrested on April 28 four people belonging to the same faction in possession of 1,242 psychotropic tablets of the Ecstasy type, smoke grenade, and masks, after the investigations revealed that the defendants used a sewer of the Mohammed V complex to conceal their merchandise that they sold during the football matches.
