Arab Forum for Sustainable Development: The key Arab countries experiences in sustainable development exposed in Rabat: "The sustainable development is a right for everyone, but it is also the responsibility of all. On this basis, the Arab countries have the ambition to implement the objectives of the sustainable development strategy 2030. Key House Representatives: Adoption of a law project authorizing the government to modify the law of the importation of common wheat and its derivatives: "On Tuesday, the House of Representatives adopted unanimity in a plenary session, the law project N° 19-17 amending the import law applicable to common wheat and its derivatives. Introducing the law project, the Minister of Economy and Finance, Mohamed Boussaïd, said that this text allows the government to increase from 30 to 135% the customs duties applied to common wheat, in order to preserve the marketing prices of the national harvest of soft wheat."

Benabdellah: A housing project in favor of newly married youth: ""The government plans to launch a housing project intended for newly married youth," announced, in Rabat, on Tuesday, the Minister of the Development of the National Territory, Urban Planning, Habitat and Urban Policy, Mohamed Nabil Benabdellah. In response to a question in front of the House of Councilors, Mr. Benabdellah affirmed the project is part of a series of initiatives, relating to the field of housing, specifying that a study has been launched on low-cost housing and rental housing in favor of the poor. The Minister also indicated that the Government intends to launch housing projects dedicated to the middle class and take several measures to promote this type of habitat, denying the existence of a crisis in the sector."
Meeting between His Majesty the King and the French President: ""His Majesty the King Mohammed VI was received at the Elysee this Tuesday by the President of the French Republic, Francois Hollande, for a lunch in the presence of members of governments, friends from Morocco and France and members of civil society, a symbol of strong and protean links between the two countries," said a statement from the Royal Cabinet. "The two heads of state stressed the personal relations of esteem and reciprocal respect, basis of the renewal of the France-Morocco partnership in the fields of security, sustainable development, culture and education," said the statement. "They expressed their confidence in the vitality of this exceptional partnership and which transcends political agendas and strategic partnership for both countries, both bilaterally Euro-Mediterranean and African development," added the statement.
The PSA Morocco project awarded the "best investment project in the MENA region": "The PSA Morocco project was awarded the prize of the "best investment project in the MENA region" during the awards ceremony "AIM Investment Awards", organized in the margins of the 2017 Annual Investment Meeting (AIM) in Dubai. "The PSA Morocco project, proposed by AMDI, for a new factory which will be located in the Atlantic Free Zone in Kenitra, has been the subject of a maximum number of votes during the evaluation phase," said the agency in a statement. TOURISM: THE FRENCH DOP THE ACTIVITY IN MARCH: "A total of 762,562 tourists have visited Morocco during the month of March, an increase of 3.7% compared with the same period a year earlier, according to the Ministry of Tourism, Air Transport, Crafts and Social Economy. "This increase was mainly driven by the French markets, which grew by 6%, Dutch (+4%), and American (+24%)," said the ministry in a statement. "As regards the overnight stays in classified accommodation establishments, their volume reached about 1.76 million overnight stays in March, an 18.1% increase compared with the same period of the previous year," said the statement, pointing out that this increase concerned both non-resident tourists (+19.1%) than the Moroccan tourists (+15.4%). "Thereby, the average occupancy rate in the classified accommodation establishments was 44%, an increase of five points compared with March 2016," says the same source. According to the statement, these good performances have benefited the main Moroccan tourist destinations with +25% for Fez, +22% for Marrakech and Casablanca, +21% for Tangier and Rabat, and +20% for Agadir. Regarding currency travel receipts, they reached 4.7 billion DH, a decrease of 5.6% compared with March 2016, according to the same source."
