Employer Representation: The Moroccan Entrepreneurs of the World Have Their “CGEM”: "The 13th region of CGEM dedicated to Moroccan entrepreneurs of the world was officially launched in Rabat on July 24. The platform, named “MeM by CGEM”, has the mission of encouraging Moroccan entrepreneurs residing abroad to invest in their country of origin and to facilitate, through them, the development of economic exchanges between the Kingdom and abroad."

Import/Export Operations: Soon the E-Payment: "Portnet will soon launch e-payment for operations related to foreign trade. This multi-channel platform is in the process of being set up. Other dematerialization measures were initiated by this one-stop shop. Electronic notification of advanced notice of arrival of containers for export will enter into force at the port of Casablanca as of August 1. It will be compulsory, as of next September 1, at the port of Agadir, before its generalization in the other ports."

Al Hoceima: Construction of Six New Health Centers and Rehabilitation of 28 Others: "The Minister of Health, Mr. El Houcine El Ouardi, indicated, in Al Hoceima, on Monday, that six new health centers are under construction and 28 others are being rehabilitated and equipped at the provincial level for an amount of 65.1 million Dirhams."

Ennakl Undergoes the Dinar Effect: "Ennakl has seen its business year decrease in the first half of 2017. Mostly, the Moroccan shareholders will have to support the depreciation of the Tunisian dinar in relation to the dirham. Indeed, the Tunisian group listed on Casablanca Stock Exchange announced, for the first half of the current year, a turnover of 185 million Tunisian Dinars, or 721 million Dirhams, in decrease of 11.53% compared with the same period last year. In Dirham, this decline is 23% due to the depreciation of Tunisian currency. It should be noted that, over the first six months of 2017, the Tunisian dinar lost nearly 13% compared to the dirham, which penalized the performance of Ennakl, expressed in Moroccan currency."
