These accidents are mainly due to lack of control of the vehicles, inadvertence of pedestrians and drivers, non-compliance with the priority, excess speed, unauthorized change of direction, failure to comply with traffic lights and stop signs, to traffic on the left and in the forbidden direction, unauthorized overtaking and drunk driving, according to a press release from the DGSN."
