Growth: IMF More Optimistic Than the Government: "The International Monetary Fund (IMF) team, visiting Morocco, is more optimistic than the government. According to officials from the Bretton Woods institution, the growth of the Moroccan economy is expected to rebound this year to 4.8%, i.e. 0.3 points above the forecast in the 2017 budget law. For Nicolas Blancher, Chief of IMF mission, who was speaking at a press conference, in Rabat on Monday, all the ingredients are gathered for Moroccan growth to take off. "The economic outlooks for 2017 are favorable. After the drought of 2016, the growth should rebound to 4.8%, thanks to a strong recovery in the agricultural sector, while non-agricultural growth would accelerate modestly to 3.3% (+0.2 points)," he specifies. Similarly, inflation should be limited to 0.9%, according to IMF, while the budget of 2017 sets it at 1.7%."

Agriculture: Morocco in the Top 5 African Champions: "Morocco is in the Top 5 of the champions of Agriculture in Africa, according to a study dedicated to the perception of international investors of the African economy by 2022, made public on Tuesday. The study, carried out by Havas Horizons and Institut Choiseul, indicates that Morocco is included in this ranking with Ethiopia, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Nigeria, and Cameroon, noting that these countries are distinguished by their ability to address the challenges of this sector."

Worse still, less than one in four girls is, according to the same version, enrolled in college. In addition, the completion rates are low and wastage in turn. The report also notes that fewer than 5 students out of 100 obtain their baccalaureate without any repetition."

Finding: Health Personnel: The Shortage Is Worsening: "Health personnel crisis, access to care, resignation of resident doctors, deliveries without medical assistance, a finding far from perfect.
