Uber Eats has joined forces with Sky Sports to launch a lighthearted campaign celebrating one of the UK’s biggest passions: football.
The initiative features a series of sponsorship idents starring former Premier League managers Sam Allardyce, Tony Pulis, and Alan Pardew, set to air during Sky Sports Premier League broadcasts starting on Friday, August 15, and continuing throughout the 25/26 season. Developed by creative agency Mother and directed by Freddy Mandy through SMUGGLER, the films mix humor with a dose of nostalgia.
With over 3,000 games managed between them, the three football veterans have swapped the rain-soaked touchlines for the comfort of their living rooms, enjoying Premier League action alongside Uber Eats deliveries. Each ident ends with the line: “When you’ve done enough, Uber Eats.”
“The beautiful game is at the core of British culture,” said Matthew Price, general manager of Uber Eats UK, Ireland and Northern Europe. “From pre-match nerves to full-time celebrations, Uber Eats is the perfect accompaniment to help people enjoy their downtime.”
Omar El-Gammal, head of cultural insight at Mother, added: “Food, entertainment, and a break from the daily grind go hand in hand. We wanted to dramatise that by bringing together these Premier League legends to show how Uber Eats helps them enjoy well-earned rest after their long careers.”
The campaign will be visible across Sky Sports’ Premier League coverage, reinforcing Uber Eats’ connection to both football culture and relaxed, at-home viewing moments.
